Is much more

Than any words

We can say

It is a feeling

And practical force

That exerts beyond

All of the day-to-day discourse

Hidden within

Its very essence

Is a purity of form

With the power to Transform

All negativity

Quickly melts away

As we connect

In a certain way

Even judgment and envy

Will disappear

With such intensity of Love

There is simply no room for fear

Each and every kind act

And encouraging word

Means so much more

Than we may of heard

No matter which way

Our day transpires

There is always opportunity

To set our heart on fire

Pleasing thoughts

Of what can Be

Are the fuel

That will set us free

Problems and challenges

Will most definitely arise

But the Love within

Will provide a pleasant surprise

Seeking to keep up

With this magnetic force

Requires all of our focus

To stay the course

Whether friend or stranger

There is no delay

When we are truly motivated

To have kind things to say

Being generous

Takes many forms

Material is good

But it is our heart that warms

Reflecting back

On past mistakes

Will keep us humble

And eliminate the fake

Don’t ever deny

What is really true

Because an honest assessment

Will reveal a new You

Picking up the pieces

Of our broken past

Restructuring our lives

In a way that will last

It all comes down

To the same old thing

The magic resides

With the Love within

We all have problems

And make mistakes

A little compassion

Is all that it takes

A child behavior problem

From a daughter or son

Makes child rearing

Not a lot of fun

But there are many messages

That abound

By changing our perception

An enhanced existence can be found

Whether or not

We all agree

There is one thing

That we must see

Beyond the separateness

That seems to be

There is an attribute

That is the Key

It’s the Unconditional Love

Of which we are made

Nothing else matters

As our fears begin to fade
