Right Action
On the surface, right action seems to imply following through on a well conceived and organized plan; “getting our ducks in order” so to speak. But when we are talking about transformation or exceptional results, it takes on an entire different meaning. It’s not about figuring things out, or forcing desired results.Needs of the Moment Quite the contrary, this type of action is based on totally responding to the needs of the present moment. When a person is clear of extraneous noise in their heads, they are able to be aware of what is going on around and within themselves. Only at this point can true intuition surface. Resistance Free So we are not resisting “what is”, so we are able to look and listen with our true senses. When we do not fight against what is happening, we are open to the solution. The solutions emerges from the situation itself. This is what it means to let go, and let it happen naturally and effortlessly. Creative children find this easy to do. These are kids that have not lost or have regained their ability to embrace the present moment and see the uniqueness thereof. For most of us, we have some unlearning to do before we can regain our natural ability to listen to the voice within ourselves. At this point we need to learn to crawl before we are able to trust ourselves enough to access this information. So bottom line, right action is skillful action, and is all about being sensitive to our inner signals, which guide us to act at the perfect time, and act in ways that are consistent and appropriate to the whole setting. No effort is required. Modeling this for our children will go a long way in setting the foundation for our kids to learn to trust their own uniqueness and intuitive leanings.
