What Are Quantum Particles?

Quantum particles form the basis of our recognizable reality. Energy takes shape as either waves or particles. The more that scientists delve into the inner realm of the atom, the more fascinating discoveries are made, and much of our accepted beliefs are torn apart. A basic understanding of quantum physics brings together many disciplines on a common ground.

We discover that science, religion, psychology and philosophy have much more in common than previously thought. Instead of being at odds with spiritual issues, it is now becoming evident that science is proving many religious and spiritual concepts including a higher power.

Nonlocality

Erwin Schrodinger was one of the original architects of quantum theory. He considered the discovery of nonlocality quantum theory’s defining moment and central principle. Now what is nonlocality? Well as I previously said everything is either waves or particles. As a wave the energy is spread out or dispersed, while as a particle the energy is confined to a small space and able to take form.

At this level all is probability, and “cause and effect” goes out the window at the subatomic level. Instead we have a state of infinite possibility or pure potential. So nonlocality refers to a subatomic particle, like an electron, being able to influence another particle immediately and instantaneously no matter the distance, and without any energy exchange or force.

So once in contact, a connection is made that continues regardless of time or space. This puts into question many previous theories including the speed of light. Subatomic particles can only be understood in relationships, and not in isolation. This brings into play an interconnected universe, and the importance of the consciousness that observes.

Nature of Reality

All of this scientific stuff has great implications about the true nature of reality including parenting positive power. How we think, behave and interact can be traced back at a quantum level, so that what we are aware of actually bringing the observed object into being. Nothing exists independent of our perception. We truly create our world.

What this means practically is that each of us has a tremendous responsibility in influencing and mentoring our children. How we perceive them and their potential, greatly influences them, and what they believe they can achieve. The story of quantum particles has a much greater effect in our lives than merely interesting theory.
