Poetic insights are as fleeting as air

When we don’t take note of them

They simply disappear

Much hidden knowledge is contained within

But discovering what’s there

Can be quite a chore

So patience is required

To find the proper door

Once inside this secret vault

Treasures of Wisdom abound

Within every sight and sound

Visions of glory

And stories of lore

All coalesce

Leaving us wanting more

Practice makes perfect

Has always been the key

Of the unraveling of

Oh so many mysteries

Writing down thoughts

That come our way

Seems to be the process

By which our intuitive insights

Have their say

Intuitions are always

Quite near

Though very easy to miss

As they are quite often blocked

By envy and fear

Opening up the floodgates

To these hidden gems

Happens at times

When we least expect them

Rushing back and forth

In our hectic lives

Is not quite conducive

To an intuitive surprise

Only in those moments

When the fury subsides

Are these delicate insights

Willing to arrive

Always stay open and anticipate

Because these jewels of wisdom

Are most definitely worth the wait

Surprises are many

For those who persevere

Beyond the obstacles and challenges

The view is quite clear

When things are their worst

And many give in

The opportunity is present

To proceed with a grin

Each moment is precious

In what it reveals

We must not overlook

The many clues

In our haste or our zeal

The road may be bumpy

And at times seem unfair

But each decision and choice

Must be taken with care

We each create our lives

With our thoughts and beliefs

As we learn to let go

Of those that cause us much grief

Releasing the garbage

That we’ve collected along the way

Is just as important

As the dreams for which we pray

Poetry, insights and creativity too

Will abound in our life

Each day through the year

When we are guided by Love

And choose to release fear.
