The Game Of Life

The Game of LifeIs why we’re here Although the details are fuzzy And not entirely clear Moving through space and time At such a rapid pace Blinds us to much That we have to face Stories and myths Do provide some clues But there is a hidden element That remains out of view Struggle and force Hinder the way True wisdom appears When we are at play Taking things seriously Is what we’ve been taught While it’s the opposite direction Where Peace of Mind is sought Fairy tales and fables Abound in our schools While the truth of the matter Is hidden from you So much conditioning And false beliefs Cloud our perception And make us weak Scotomas or blind spots Within our view Cause us to see Things that are not true Making decisions Based on illusionary facts Lead us to believe That this is the only way to act Sacrificing happiness To be proven right Is just another trap Hidden from sight Concealing our power As well as we do Is no easy feat And takes tremendous energy too Acting as if We are victims of fate Is a guaranteed process To keep us second rate This Human Game That we have chosen to play Has very specific rules Though not on display Help to remember The things we once knew Is not to be found In any traditional school Bits and pieces Of true wisdom and knowledge Is not anything I learned When I was in college It takes effort and time To seek out the clues And the place to begin Is right within you Because contrary to most Opinions and facts There’s a Holographic Universe To which we react Blaming others For things as they be Neglects the vital issue That they are all aspects of me So even though the Game of Life May be puzzling to some There does come a time When all this does becomes fun JWS 8/11/11
